Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi, you are greeted and transferred to your hotel in center of Hanoi. The rest of your day is at your leisure.
Day 2: Hanoi | Charming city with 1000 year-history (B/L/D)
You will have a chance to explore the country’s cultural heart. In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh’s house, home of the famous leader who pursed independence for Vietnam and in the same (compound? grounds? location?) see the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda located in one giant location setting. Next, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university. After lunch, continue on to visit the infamous “Hanoi Hilton,” formally known as Hoa Lo, where American POWs were once confined. A visit to the recently discovered, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, will conclude our Hanoi city tour.
Day 3: Halong Bay | Exploring UNESCO World Heritage Site (B/L/D)
Depart for Halong Bay, a beautiful natural wonder located in Northern Vietnam. The Bay, which covers an area of over 1500 square km, is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets. You are transferred to Tuan Chau Marina, where you board ‘Emeraude,’ a beautiful vessel that is your home for the evening. After check-in checking in to your reserved cabin, you are served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to the bay. The first place to explore is Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Next stop is Pearl Farm and where you can enjoy kayaking activity. In the late afternoon, get back on the boat and take part in the Sunset Party on the sundeck. After having a delicious dinner, you will have the chance to socialize with other guests from all over the world, play board games, sing karaoke, squid fishing (seasonal), or just laze around, relax and free your soul in the mysterious night.
Day 4: Halong Bay & Hanoi | Getting Back to Hanoi (B/L/D)
It is recommended to wake up to the sound and smell of nature. Take opportunity to learn and experience the art of Tai Chi. The cruise takes you to Titop Island. Take part in a list of exciting activities such as sunbathing, swimming, conquering the peak of the biggest island in Halong and taking panoramic photos of the bay. Afterward, enjoy brunch and get ready to check out. At around noon you will disembark and head back to Hanoi. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant en route to Hanoi. You should get back around late afternoon and check in at hotel. In the evening, try the famous street foods in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Day 5: Mai Chau – Peaceful Countryside (B/L/D)
This morning, you are heading to Mai Chau, a small town in the mountainous Hoa Binh province. This small town offers unique culture and laid-back atmosphere. Spend some time in this rural valley and you’ll forget what century you are in. Take time to enjoy the countryside on foot or by bike through the rice fields or mountainous backdrop. At noon, enjoy lunch at a local home before checking in to your lodge to relax. At night, enjoy and participate in the traditional culture dance of Thai tribe.
Day 6: Mai Chau – Hue | Perfume River (B/L/D)
After breakfast, depart for the airport to catch your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a poetic theme restaurant fronting the banks of the famous Perfume River before settling in Hue Hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure.
Day 7: Hue | Explore Imperial Heritage (B/L/D)
Today, head to the ancient city of Hue, where you have a chance to visit the remains of the Imperial City. The ancient citadel highlights include Forbidden Purple City and Emperor’s Private Residence. After taking Take a short break for lunch you will then board a boat for a trip along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, an unofficial symbol of Hue. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 8: Danang & Hoi An | The Ancient Town (B/L/D)
This morning, get up and have an early breakfast before checking out. The next destination will be Khai Dinh Tomb, an impressive monument located on a steep slope at the foot of Mount Chau Chu. The structure is an architectural blend of Vietnamese and Western influences. The project took 11 years to complete. After visit, take a 2-hour scenic ocean drive toward Danang. You will settle in Danang hotel around 3 pm before heading to Hoi An where you can enjoy a walking tour in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlighted activities include: culinary exploration of local street food, relaxing by the river. Afterward you are transferred back to Danang Hotel and relax.
Day 9: Ba Na Hills (B/L/D)
The agenda for today includes a full day at of the famous Ba Na Hills, an irresistible destination when visiting Danang. Come and experience the diverse set of festive and many activities in European architecture theme. In addition, check-in at the Golden Bridge, a yellow bridge supported by giant hands only appeared on social media recently but attracts many visitors from all around the world. Enjoy lunch at Aparang Buffet restaurant. Participate at your own pace as there are many activities to choose from. You should return to hotel by late afternoon. If our agenda falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you are strategically booked to enjoy dinner by the Han River to overlook the spectacular Golden Bridge show.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City | Journey the Old “Saigon” (B/L/D)
This morning, enjoy wonderful beaches that Danang has to offer such as My Khe and Non Nuoc. You also have time to wander around city center or buy some souvenirs in the famous Han Market. Around noon, come back and check out before heading to airport to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. You will arrive at Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. The remainder of the night is at your leisure.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City| Vibrant and Lively (B/L/D)
This morning, experience a lively art and culture, a noticeable contrast to the traditional ambience of Hanoi. Take a walk around District 1 where many city’s colonial legacies, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Ho Chi Minh is also popular for night life scenes. Wonder around Pho Tay “Street of Foreigners” where music, lights, drinks and foods are showcased on sidewalks.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels | History Relived (B/L/D)
Day 13: Departure (B)
Depend on your flight schedule, your guide will take and see you off at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
